Download the XLS file from TennisLink

Start at tennislink.usta.com and open USTA League, then Stats & Standings. Find your team and open its team page.

  1. For a schedule, open Match Schedule and use Send to Excel to download the Match Schedule by Flight XLS file.
  2. For a roster, open Roster and use Send to Excel to download the Player Roster by Team XLS file.
  3. For a completed match result, open the match scorecard and use Send to Excel to download the Scorecard XLS file.
  4. Keep the downloaded file in XLS format. Do not copy the rows into a new spreadsheet or rename it as CSV.

Helpful tip

Download each type separately. CourtRoster expects the specific TennisLink export named in its upload dialog.

Import a match schedule

  1. In CourtRoster, select your team and then Matches.
  2. Select Import schedule and upload the Match Schedule by Flight XLS file.
  3. Select Analyze schedule, choose your team from the export, and select an existing season or create a new one.
  4. Confirm the match format and schedule time zone, then review the matches that will be added.
  5. Select Import into season, or Create season & import when you chose a new season.

Helpful tip

Existing matches with the same USTA Match ID are skipped, which helps prevent duplicates.

3

Import a roster

  1. In CourtRoster, select your team and then Roster.
  2. Select Import from USTA and upload the Player Roster by Team XLS file.
  3. Select Analyze roster, then review every player. Link an existing CourtRoster account, add a new player, or skip the row.
  4. For a new player, confirm their name, email address, and city. Choose whether CourtRoster should send invitations after the import.
  5. Review the changes and select Import roster.

Before you continue

Review suggested account matches carefully so a USTA player is not linked to the wrong CourtRoster user.

4

Import a completed match result

  1. In CourtRoster, select your team, open Matches, and select the match whose result you want to import.
  2. Select Import Result and upload the Scorecard XLS file from that completed TennisLink match.
  3. Select Analyze scorecard, identify which side is your team, and match the scorecard players to your CourtRoster roster.
  4. Review the courts, players, scores, and result, then select Import scorecard.

Before you continue

Importing a scorecard marks the match complete and updates its score, opponent, lineup slots, and player result history. Review the final step before importing.
